What I Wore: Pregnancy Edition

I’ve really enjoyed embracing and styling my “bump” this pregnancy. I was always so worried about concealing my baby bump when I was pregnant with the boys that I didn’t give myself the chance to just enjoy the special – and fleeting – time in my life.

While I’ve still had my days where I struggle with body image, I’ve been proud of myself for really feeling quite pretty this pregnancy. I’m so happy to be pregnant and to be carrying a little girl; I just want to enjoy it all as much as possible.

With this being my third go around, I feel like I’m doing a better job of dressing myself in a way that is both fashionable and true to my non-pregnant style. I’ve learned, for instance, that embracing maternity style bottoms goes a long way in making you comfortable, while still wearing non-maternity tops and dresses goes a long way in helping me feel cute.

Here are a few of my favorite looks so far. Outfit details listed when available:

Then, of course, there are those days where you just go maternity all the way…

Also, can I just say how happy I am to have found my “wall”?!?! In lieu of moving to New York where you have fantastic backdrops for photos every where you turn, I went searching for something a bit more local. We have a hardware store in town that has great, old bones, wonderful texture, and makes for a perfect backdrop. I’m so happy to have found my bloggy backdrop!

Oliver and I even did a little photo shoot there the other night, just because he was looking so dang cute.
